Switzerland, 14 February 2017: The international Sicap team welcomes clients and partners to the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Hall 7, Stand 7K61 from 27 February and will be introducing the security solution Safer and showcasing innovative IoT and Cloud solutions.
For more than 20 years, Sicap has been a global leader of device management and device interaction solutions for operators, and continues to be a trendsetter. Sicap will presenting Safer, a new security solution for MNOs and MVNOs, at MWC 2017. Operators can protect their clients effectively with Safer, for example on the one hand, in the case of loss, theft or misuse of the equipment, while on the other hand, Safer can provide public and homeland security. In line with current laws, an operator can support authorised investigative authorities with the pursuit of preventing serious crimes or subverting terrorist attacks. From the operator’s point of view, this solution is easy to implement and manage, actions can be followed in real-time and allow for precise, targeted decisions. Data can be exchanged between operators and authorised third parties via defined interfaces, easily and in real-time.
Being a leader in device management and device interaction, Sicap’s new IoT platform will support operators to develop and build sustainable IoT eco-systems that deliver and monetize real-world value propositions to their customers. In future, diverse users, devices, machines and applications over all levels, will be connected by, and interact together, through the Sicap IoT platform. The platform offers a variety of protocols to interact with IoT devices and gives the capability to connect to IoT applications through open APIs (application programming interfaces), allows for the collection of data, the update of IoT devices as well as eSIM and SIM OTA management for a multi-tenant environment.
Working together with customers is simplified with Sicap’s Always-On Cloud solution. Sicap now offers all its products and services to MNOs and MVNOs as a managed service out of the Cloud. This will result in a significant lower TCO (total cost of ownership) and higher availability for operators as Sicap is taking over the entire technical management and operations of services, including Mobile Device Management, SIM and eSIM OTA, IoT Eco System and TargetMe, as well as Safer.
Both offerings – Sicap Always-On Cloud and the IoT platform – will enhance each other simultaneously and offers MNOs and MVNOs a wide range of possibilities, in a digital and interconnected world to converge and operate successfully. Sicap staff will be presenting the solutions, as well as the ever-evolving portfolio, at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. The global Sicap team is looking forward to meeting with many customers, partners and guests from 27 February to 2 March in Barcelona, Hall 7, Stand 7K61. If you are interested in attending, you can easily.
Markus Doetsch, Sicap Group CEO concludes: “We are looking forward to presenting our products and solutions at the 2017 Mobile World Congress. Connected devices – regardless of type and form – are a major factor in digitalisation and for the development of the Internet of Things. They must be easy to configure and steer, simple to use and effortlessly analyse your saved data. Sicap ensures this will work on all platforms, with a variety of technologies for a range of diverse applications, with our solutions and products.“
