Only one out of five (20%) LTE operators have launched the Voice over LTE service. VoLTE has been an untapped customer experience opportunity for operators despite a large selection of VoLTE capable handsets are available. And, the same applies to Video over LTE, Voice over WiFi and Rich Communication Services (RCS).

A major obstacle for the proliferation of VoLTE services has been the lack of automated device configuration. Without VoLTE device configuration, the handsets cannot connect correctly to the operators’ VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWiFi and RCS services.
