Device Management Forum
DMF is a company formed to promote the interests of major stakeholders in the development, distribution, management, security and use of information, communication and entertainment devices. Sicap is a major DMF stakeholder.
ETSI (the European Telecommunications Standards Institute)
A not-profit organization, plays a major role in developing standards and technical documentation. Sicap is actively involved in the body of 912 members from 54 countries.
GSM Association
The GSMA represents the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry. Spanning 219 countries, the GSMA unites nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as more than 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem. Sicap is an active member of the GSMA.
Open Mobile Alliance
Sicap is a member of the "Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) and participates in OMA test fests. In 2009, Sicap successfully completed FOTA download and OMA Continuous Provisioning tests at the OMA test fest held at the Vodafone test lab in Dusseldorf, Germany March 19-27th.
Open Mobile Service Interface (OMSI)
OMSI is a set of web service interfaces at, for example point-of-sales and service-point PCs. OMSI Forum develops and promotes the OMSI interface and concept. Sicap is an active OMSI member.
WiMAX Forum
The WiMAX Forum is an industry-led, not-for-profit organization formed to certify and promote the compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products based upon the harmonized IEEE 802.16/ETSI HiperMAN standard. Sicap is an active member of the WiMax Forum.
